How PulseClose protects the data lenders run through it.
PulseClose is a business-to-business underwriting workbench. The data you run through it — borrowers, entities, deals — is your organization’s, and the platform is built around keeping it that way.
Tenant isolation
Every record is scoped to your organization at the database layer with row-level security. Isolation is enforced by the database itself on every query, not by application code alone.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payments are processed by Stripe; PulseClose never stores full card numbers.
AI processing, gated
AI features run behind a per-organization toggle that fails closed. Text inputs are scrubbed for personal identifiers before any AI processing, and AI narrative output never determines a risk tier or loan amount — deterministic rules do.
Access and vendors
Production access is limited and least-privilege. Third-party data sources (Secretary of State registries, court records, sanctions lists) receive only the minimum fields needed to run the check you requested. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
